  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

The thing is if you have a small staff it is easy to oversee everything they do and not drive yourself crazy. With a larger staff you have to trust them more since you can't oversee everything they do and get your job done. The problem he faced is the person he appointed and trusted to oversee his staff decided to punish a political enemy. So now involvement or not it's on him. Now you have to give him some credit to the fact that he actually held people responsible and fired them. He then took responsibility for their actions. I wish more politicians would handle scandals this way.

Well, damned if he did, and damned if didn't.

Seems a rather level-headed chap. Shows leadership when required. Is a moderate from what I understand. Tries to find out the truth behind the story, is mislead, and admits to having lied, albeit on being supplied misleading information.

What's not to like about him? Oh, he's a Politician. Unless you live in a monarchy or dictatorship that is true of leaders everywhere.

About anywhere in the civilised World, skin colour, gender, religion or ethnicity amongst others, are not qualities intelligent people use to judge candidates for public office. But I guess body size is...

Reminds me of, " The late Georges Clemenceau, a man of venomous wit, is reported to have observed that Americans afford the unique historical example of a people which has passed directly from a condition of barbarism to one of decadence without an intervening period of civilization."

His chief of staff is not the same as some low level bureaucrat that is expendable. He did take responsibility when he said the buck stops with me and apologized to the press.

In one post above it does. I do not 'support' President Obama; who your President is your affair. But it is indisputable that, that from an outside perspective - and I believe, an internal one - much of the vitriol directed at the current President is racist. No such attention is directed at a current pretender to that Office, Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada.

The irony is, that had President Obama been born in Kenya, as still claimed by some nutcases, he would still have been a natural-born American. Or every much as much one as Mr. Cruz. And in all the debate over President Obama, no mention is made, that he is every bit as 'white' as he is 'black.'

Likewise, were he a Muslim, so what?

I can actually understand Rick taking some satisfaction in Governor Christie's current difficulties. As I said above, he appears a moderate, with wide appeal that crosses bi-partisan party lines and seems popular. From Rick's perspective that would make him a real threat to a Democrat Contender come 2016.

Certainly, from what I can see, there are no other sane candidates on offer from the Right of American politics as yet.

Christie has more to worry about than the traffic problem.
He is being looked at for problems with money from the storm being misplaced.

Shooter knows for a fact Christie lied

How you ask does Shooter know that?

Christie is a politician and his lips moved

That aside, a little political gotcha like this is childrens play, in comparison to all the other shit politicians have pulled, even the ones in the white house.

Christie is still in the running, Shooter just hopes we have better than that whale to vote for...................

We do NOT need another Clinton in the white house. One was plenty, thank you. That whoring SOB taught a generation that oral sex isn't sex at all, and his wife hasn't shown that she's anything but another lying politician. We might survive Hillary back in the white house, though I doubt it. We will not survive that boob she's married to back in the white house.

We need a sea change. We need a President who can reach across the aisle and get things done. A President who understands that the role of government is not to coddle us from cradle to grave, but to get rid of the road blocks that make advancement harder.

We need a President who can control the budget, start paying off the debt we owe, and mend the fences with our world neighbors.

We need a leader, not a politician, in the white house.

We need to cleanse the voter records.
Anyone who belongs to any party should be removed from the voting records.

You tell me how any Democratic President can "reach across the aisle" when the entire Republication delegation has made it clear from the beginning of his term they are going to negate his Presidency. Don't say that hasn't been the goal because it has been and Mitch McConnell for one has admitted it.

As to Clinton....you voted in G W Bush who has been our most destructive President in modern times and who squandered the financial progress of the Clinton years. If you can support the 8 years of Bush, you damn sure can live through this Presidents remaining term. As to Republicans ideas of "leaders" how does that stack up with Mitt Romney and Sarah Palin? Glass houses, rocks.

This whole thing goes to show how quickly & viciously the Clinton political machine moves.
Does anyone honestly believe this whole scandal would have come out if Christie wasn't already beating "Billary" in the Polls?

To be fair though, Clinton didn't have 9/11 happen on his watch and it wasn't Bush that inspired Islamic Terrorists to start waging war on America. That began years ago.

At any rate, we're doomed. This is what it's come down to. Clinton, Christie or religious teabagger of your choice. lol

The Scandal of Trying to Make a Scandal About Monica Lewinsky

Were you shocked to discover that President Clinton was having a consensual affair with a woman past the age of consent, who not only consented, but took the the initiative? (?)

I wasn't. I was disgusted with the Republican Party for making an issue of this. Fortunately, most of the voters were too. As more juicy details of this presumed "scandal" leaked out, the President's popularity rose in the polls. :excited:

Then Larry Flynt, stern moralist that he is, revealed that many of the Republican Congressmen who expressed indignation over the President's act of folly, were guilty of sinful misdeeds of their own.

That is the party you expect a Democratic president to reach across the isle to and get things done.

I like Obama. Nevertheless, I can understand (psychologically and without sympathy) why millions of white men hate him. He hasn't fixed the economy. He has not achieved successful conclusions to the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. His race reminds white blue collar Republicans that being a white man does not mean as much as it used to.

Hatred of Bill Clinton was more pathological. During his presidency we had eight years of peace and prosperity. Nevertheless, millions of white men wanted to believe bad things about Bill. For several years Jerry Falwell sold a video named "The Clinton Chronicles." This accused Bill of first degree murder and drug dealing." It sold well.

When Ken Starr absolved the President of complicity in the death of Vince Foster someone immediately wrote a book explaining that Starr was mistaken. It also sold well.

Bill was even accused of selling military secrets to Communist China.

Ken Starr was given an open ended mandate to get something on the President. If there was any truth to the bizarre rumors about Clinton, he would have made the best of it. After spending five years peeping into the windows of the Oval Office, rummaging in Clinton's garbage cans, and spending fifty million dollars on his witch hunt, the only thing that sanctimonious bore had on Clinton was a lie in response to a question Starr asked himself, hoping Clinton would lie. The question was not about murder, drug dealing, or treason. It was about something that was none of Starr's business.
