Biden White House smacks down Marjorie Taylor Greene in a tweet

In an extremely unusual move for the Biden Administration, the White House responded to an attack on the President’s student loan forgiveness plan by U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene by announcing that the far right wing Georgia GOP Congresswoman had over $180,000 in PPP loans forgiven.

Highlighting the hypocrisy of Greene and other Republicans claiming it’s unfair to have loans forgiven at taxpayer expense, the White House also posted to Twitter that U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL), U.S. Rep. Mike Kelly (R-PA), U.S. Rep. Vern Buchanan (R-FL), and other Republicans attacking the administration for its student loan forgiveness program, had massive PPP loans forgiven.

“Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene had $183,504 in PPP loans forgiven,” the Biden White House tweeted from its official verified Twitter account late Thursday afternoon.

That is correct.

According to ProPublica, Rep. Greene’s family construction business took out a PPP loan on April 10, 2020, for $182,300. In total, including interest, the federal government forgave her and her family’s loan totaling $183,504.

The PPP loans, also known as the Paycheck Protection Program, originated under President Donald Trump and was facilitated via the Small Business Administration. The were $800 billion in PPP loans made, according to NBC News.

Watchdogs estimate billions in fraudulent PPP loans were forgiven.

“For for our government just to say, you know, ‘okay, well your debt is completely forgiven.’ Obviously they have an agenda for that they need votes in November,” Greene can be heard saying ion Newsmax in the video below. “So the timing is a pure coincidence there as well, but it’s completely unfair and taxpayers all over the country, taxpayers that never took out a student loan, taxpayers that pay their bills and and you know, maybe even never went to college or just hard-working people. They shouldn’t have to pay off the great big student loan debt for some college student that piled up massive debt going to some Ivy League school. That’s not fair.”

Marjorie Taylor Greene just 'trying to live out Christian faith' with her anti-transgender bill

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) said a bill that would prevent gender-affirming treatment for transgender children is part of a "spiritual war" and her "Christian faith."

During an interview with Human Events podcast host Jack Posobiec, Greene explained that the local SWAT team had been wrongly called to her home on two occasions because she was a victim of a tactic known as "swatting."

Greene attributed the dangerous prank to pro-transgender activists who disagree with her bill to outlaw gender-affirming treatment for children. The lawmaker complained that MSNBC had accused her of "targeting" transgender kids.

"Complete and total lie," she insisted. "If anything, all I'm trying to do is say, look, leave kids alone, let them grow up before they make these permanent changes to their body. Radical, awful changes that they cannot undo."

"I don't know how we got in a place where my stance is controversial," she continued. "I think it just shows you, we are in a true spiritual war in America. And you can see the attacks on me are proof of it."

Greene added: "I think it's so important for everyone to realize this is the world we live in today. So we basically need to understand how to get comfortable being uncomfortable because if you're in the fight, if you're trying to protect kids and you're trying to do what's right, if you're a Christian and you're trying to live out your Christian faith, you're going to be attacked for it."

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) tweeted a short video Thursday night after President Joe Biden’s speech with an actor portraying the president as Adolf Hitler, complete with the infamous mustache and what sounded like audio from one of the Nazi dictator’s speeches.

Biden’s speech at Independence Hall in Philadelphia sharply criticized former President Donald Trump and “MAGA Republicans,” saying that they “represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our republic” and warning of dire consequences if they retake power in the upcoming elections.

Greene posted multiple tweets Thursday night attacking Biden for the speech, including two that directly called him Hitler.

“They chose this imagery,” she wrote in a tweet sharing a photo from the speech. “It’s unreal. Joe Biden is Hitler. #NaziJoe has to go.”

Controversial GOP Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia told a young activist to go to a different country after he demanded action on gun safety.

Santiago Mayer, the executive director of the Gen Z-led Voters of Tomorrow organization, confronted Greene about her opposition to gun safety legislation.

"Shame on you," Greene said. "You know what? Go move to another country where they take away your guns."

"I want to live in a country where kids don't get shot," Mayer said.

"You're not even a grateful American," Greene replied.

A young woman in a blue dress asked Greene "how does the second Amendment prevent gun violence?"

At about the 1:15 mark in the video Greene posted to Twitter, it appears that the congresswoman may have kicked the young woman.

Republicans have already been measuring the curtains of the House Speaker's office with the anticipation of there being a so-called "red wave" in November that ushers in many new Republican members of the House of Representatives.

At the start of the year, once redistricting had settled, Republican leader Kevin McCarthy bragged that they would take over at least 60 seats. That has significantly been reduced, however.

Now it appears one of McCarthy's biggest foes in his own party is ready to stop his rise to power.

Speaking on a panel with Steve Bannon, Peter Navarro, Mike Lindell and Trump spokesperson Liz Harrington, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) hinted that she wants to fight to take the Speaker post in November.

Bannon noted that Green had the "stones" to "make things happen" on appropriations and the budget committees. Greene has never indicated her interest in either of those committees. They're also usually reserved for more senior members.

"Well, you know how much I would like to lead the company here in Congress," she told Bannon. "That's what I did before I ever got here in Congress, lead a company."

Greene's father started a construction company and she was listed for a time as the CFO on the corporate registration records. In an expose by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, however, Greene was outed for spending most of her days at CrossFit and traveling to national competitions instead of helping her husband run the company.

"In 2015, she acknowledged in an internet radio interview that when she opened a gym of her own in 2013, she and her business partner knew next to nothing about running a business," the report explained.

"The way the system works here is a lot different from the way it works in the real world," Green told Bannon about her hope to rise in the GOP leadership.
