PewDiePie vs T-Series: In a Major Twist, Logan Paul Offers a Helping Hand to Swedish Gamer

Logan has pitched in to help Pewds in the YouTube subscriber war and fans believe that this could very well be the end of the world.

Social media star Logan Paul has joined the long list of YouTubers who are going to great lengths to help a Swedish gamer stay on top of the game, leaving many fans confused.

For the last 5 years, Felix Arvid Ulf Kjellberg aka PewDiePie has reigned over the video-streaming site as the most subscribed channel but a recent scare from an Indian music label company, T-Series, which was set to dethrone the king, has united fellow YouTubers, who necessarily don't share similar opinions or gel well on a personal level.

Despite so much help pouring in from the YouTube community, T-Series has been actively (and unwittingly) catching up with the gamer, and giving PewDiePie sleepless nights, or so we'd like to think.

In an attempt to give him a huge leap, YouTube personality Mr Beast recently created a poll on Twitter, asking his fans if he should collaborate with the Paul brothers (Jake and Logan) to assist PewDiePie in the on-going battle. And to everyone's shock, the majority believed that it was time that everyone set aside their differences with the Paul brothers and fought for the greater cause.

“Guys, the battle with T-Series is getting intense and casualties are high. Should we call Logan and Jake Paul for help? Is winning worth sacrificing everything?"

PewDiePie acknowledged Mr Beast's poll in a vlog and admitted that he was, indeed, "desperate" for any kind of help that came his way.

“I wonder if Logan Paul would do it. I wonder. Could we put our differences aside? Come on Logan, what’s it gonna be? That’s right, I’m that desperate - I’ll take any help I can get," Pewds quipped.

What's the big fuss about Logan Paul helping PewDiePie?

In an earlier, now notorious, vlog, Logan Paul kicked off a global controversy when he posted a video that showed him and his friends laughing about an actual corpse they filmed, hanging from a tree in Japan’s “suicide forest," back in January.

YouTube reacted strongly to the controversy and said in an open letter that suicide was not a joke, nor should it ever be a driving force for views. The video behemoth also promptly removed the popular American vlogger from its Google Preferred platform while putting their future projects with him on hold.

Among many others, PewDiePie too called out the insensitive nature in Logan's vlog and believed the YouTuber had gone too far in his act.

In what seems like an attempt to make amends with the Swedish gamer, Logan declared on his Twitter account that the "Logang is coming," to his rescue.

Twitterati were left scratching their heads.

Earlier this week, PewDiePie made headlines in India after he took up the topic of racist comments about India, which had been posted in T-Series-dissing videos, and tried to turn it into something "positive".

“Sometimes in these comments, you see comments like ‘f**k Indians,' just really distasteful, unnecessary comments," he said. “And I obviously make Indian jokes and stuff like that, but I do that of all countries, and this is not what I’m about."

To make up for this, PewDiePie set up a donation campaign for Indian non-governmental organisation Child Rights and You and urged his "9-year-old" Bro army to help the underprivileged kids in India.

In 24 hours, the goal was met and PewDiePie's fans managed to raise Rs 1.6 crore.

Hordes of YouTubers have come forward in aid of PewDiePie's one-sided beef with the Noida-based music label.
