Playing the role of Ranatunga, a ruthless gangster, Randeep has completely immersed himself in the character- gaining muscle weight, working on his voice modulation, the actor has gone above and beyond to bring his most menacing and evil role to life.

From day one, he was committed to making Ranatunga a truly fearsome villain. He grew out his hair to give the character a raw mlook, worked on his physique to add a more intimidating presence. Last week, the makers of Jaat shared Randeep Hooda’s character reveal clip in which he is shown saying, “Mujhe mera naam bohot pyaara hai (My name means to me a lot)." The scene appeared to be set inside a police station. The video ultimately cuts to Ranatunga entering his naturally aggressive mode, with scenes throughout the footage revealing his intense and formidable looks.
Meanwhile, the highly anticipated trailer for Sunny Deol starrer Jaat is set to release on March 22 with a grand launch event at Jaipur’s Vidhyadhar Nagar Stadium, starting at 5 PM. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Saiyami Kher, Regina Cassandra, Prashant Bajaj, and Viineet Kumar Siingh. Besides Hindi, Jaat will hit the screens with Telugu and Tamil dubs as well.
